    In the role of Barback, a candidate with attention to detail, physical stamina, a passion for customer service and who thrives in a teamwork based environment would excel in this barback position. They would also assist the Beverage Team towards the common goal of providing the highest level of customer satisfaction - time after time!

      

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Clean glassware, utensils and all bar areas;
    • Supply ice and prepares garnishes;
    • Pick up stock from dry goods and beverage storage rooms and deliver to the appropriate bar;
    • Stock the bar and maintain adequate supplies;
    • Mop floors and remove garbage;
    • Directly or indirectly provide for superior customer service and promote excellent employee relations;
    • Assist beverage team to support the highest level of customer satisfaction;
    • Comply with Liquor License Act and all related departmental and Casino Rama policies and procedures
    • Maintain a professional appearance adhering to company and department grooming policy;
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Ability to enter information to create computerized requisitions plus complete standard forms and reports;
    • Must be able to carry out essential duties that require frequent lifting of boxes, cases, kegs, bottles, garbage, ice and other related items from 2 – 60 lbs.;
    • Ability to frequently push/pull carts, garbage bins/bags (10-35 lbs.); frequent use of hands, wrists, arms, shoulders and back to grip, carry, lift and balance;
    • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods (regular work shift 8 hours);
    • Must have or be able to acquire Smart Serve certification;
    • Must be able to acquire and maintain AGCO licensing;
    • Excellent verbal English communication skills; Ability to read and write in English;
    • General knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.

    Casino Rama’s exceptional dining experience begins in the back of house with the team’s commitment to cleanliness, safety and efficiency. The kitchen Utility Attendant (Kitchen Porter) role is an important part of this overall excellence.

     

    The Kitchen Utility Attendant (Kitchen Porter) is responsible for providing service to the food and beverage department in all aspects of dish and pot washing, as well as overall cleanliness of the back of house operation. Successful candidates embrace health and safety, attention to detail and strive to provide excellent relations with fellow C.R.E.W. members. This front-line position is for someone who is looking to start an exciting career in the hospitality industry.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Load / unload dishes, glassware and cutlery into our top quality cleaning machines/equipment and store clean dishes.  
    • Maintain back of house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls, bars and other service areas in a clean and safe manner
    • Remove food from dishes and place dirty dishes on conveyor belt
    • Machine wash and mop floors; power wash garbage area
    • Steam clean and scrub tile surfaces
    • Pick up and wheel garbage pails from back of house areas to compactors
    • Load and compact cardboard, tin and garbage into compactors
    • Comply with AGCO, Provincial and Casino Rama policies, procedures and regulations
    • Must directly or indirectly provide for excellent employee relations with co-workers
    • Perform other duties as assigned 

    Qualifications:

     

    • Previous Kitchen Services experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment/chemicals is preferred, but not essential
    • Must be able to lift, push and pull heavy objects of up to 50 kg repeatedly during the course of a shift
    • Must be able to constantly stand, walk, bend, twist and be exposed to heat, chemicals, noise, steam, odors and slippery floors
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

     Responsibilities:   

     

    • Recognize and use of guest name at all times
    • Service guests using pleasant  proper etiquette and following the service sequences
    • Be present in the dining room with a smile
    • Responsible for problem solving any potential guest or crew complaints
    • Perform other duties as required greet and seat guests using pleasant and proper etiquette
    • Answer the telephone using proper phone etiquette
    • Polished grooming required
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment as required
    • Assist in all areas of the restaurant / set and reset tables
    • To be knowledgeable about the daily activities in the Hotel and the Casino

    Qualifications:

    • Proven organization and people skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during a shift
    • Ability to be highly organized during peak business hours
