Summary:

Front Office agents are responsible for greeting and registering the guests, providing Diamond Service from the time of registration and throughout the guests stay.

 

Responsibilities

  • Complete all daily shift check lists.
  • Pre-register incoming bus groups and packages.
  • Provide retail quotes and reservations as required.
  • Check in and out of guests utilizing the CRS and LMS system.
  • Provide guests with information regarding daily events to prompt our services and products.
  • Respond to guests concerns, comments, and questions in a professional and timely manner; and maintain guest confidentiality.
  • Handle cash, credit card, pre-paid credit cards, gift cards and debit transactions in an accurate manner; report errors immediate to supervisors.
  • Maintain their float at $1000.00.
  • Perform all billing, including complimentary billing, discounted rates and retail rates billing as required.
  • Perform responsibilities in “At Your Service station” as set out by departmental standards.
  • Complete daily reports as assigned by management and other duties assigned by management, adhering to departmental standards and procedures including Hotel Walk Policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Front Desk experience in a fully automated hospitality environment is preferred. Hotel and Hospitality Diploma is preferred.  
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work well in a fast paced business environment and well under pressure.
  • Must be able to talk and type at the same time and be able to type 60 WPM (will be tested).
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods (regular work shift 8 hours);
  • Must be able to bend twist and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of LMS, CRS, VISION, MAGMA, and WEBWORKS are an asset.

The Kitchen Utility Attendant (Kitchen Porter) is responsible for providing service to the food and beverage department in all aspects of dish and pot washing, as well as overall cleanliness of the back of house operation. Successful candidates embrace health and safety, attention to detail and strive to provide excellent relations with fellow C.R.E.W. members.   • Load / unload dishes, glassware and cutlery into our top quality cleaning machines/equipment and store clean dishes.  
  • Maintain back of house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls, bars and other service areas in a clean and safe manner
  • Remove food from dishes and place dirty dishes on conveyor belt
  • Machine wash and mop floors; power wash garbage area
  • Steam clean and scrub tile surfaces
  • Pick up and wheel garbage pails from back of house areas to compactors
  • Load and compact cardboard, tin and garbage into compactors
  • Comply with AGCO, Provincial and Casino Rama policies, procedures and regulations
  • Must directly or indirectly provide for excellent employee relations with co-workers

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Exercise qualified and professional treatments in accordance with CMTO standards

 Qualifications:

  • Good physical stamina

Compensation:  The RMT is paid an hourly rate (regardless if the RMT is performing a treatment or not) plus a competitive commission per service, plus gratuities.

 

Other:  Uniforms, products, linens are provided by the spa.  A coordinator schedules and organizes the RMT's day.

HOLIDAY GALA 2017

 

To all Hospitality students we would like you to experience the excitement of being a member of the Kitchen brigade here at Casino Rama for a very special event.

 

On the last Saturday of November, every year we cater our biggest event for over 800 of our top guests. We convert the 5,000 seat Entertainment center into one enormous ballroom which as you can imagine is quite a feat.

We call it simply the "V.I.P Gala" but it's one of the most spectacular events that we offer to our top clients by way of thanking them for their support over the past year.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate students who would like to join us for this event on Saturday November 25th in addition to one day earlier for orientation. Come and meet our team, be part of the culinary family and experience an event like no other!

 

We are very fortunate to work in a resort that delivers 10 diverse and exciting food and beverage options. The Kitchen Services, Turtle Island (employee cafeteria) and Cedar Express Teams are integral parts in the success of our Food and Beverage operations here at Casino Rama Resort.  We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who possesses demonstrated management experience within a similar role/working environment to lead these departments. Responsibilities

  • Oversees all Kitchen Services functions and management of the employee cafeteria as well as the Cedar Express Outlet
  • Provides leadership to engage, motivate and develop all C.R.E.W. members of these teams
  • Works closely with all food and beverage departments to ensure appropriate levels of wares are available at all times and provides the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene in all of the resorts food processing facilities and operating equipment in accordance with policy and regulatory standards
  • Is one of the key leaders on the resorts re-cycling program who will be very focused on waste diversion particularly as it relates to food and beverage
  • Oversees all aspects of the employee dining facility (Turtle Island Café) which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Oversees all aspects of an express café offering a variety of pastries, light food items and a variety of beverages
  • Monitors daily operations to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards, policies and procedures. Reviews and makes recommendations for changes or creation of policies or procedures as required.
  • Is experienced in the knowledge of the chemicals required for cleaning and sanitizing and has had previous experience on the use of commercial dish washing equipment

  • Collaborates with Human Resources to develop recruitment plans based on labor needs, participates in internal and external job candidate selection, including screening, conducting interviews, testing and related activities. Authorizes all hiring/promotional decisions, ensuring compliance with all related policies and regulations
  • Promotes and models the highest level of customer service particularly for our internal customer, ensuring that C.R.E.W. members deliver a maximum level of service and customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained. Works quickly to resolve customer complaints
  • Responds to and resolves C.R.E.W. questions/concerns and address operational issues
  • Ability to perform internal audits to ensure all food and beverage areas are being kept to the federal department of health standard, ensuring there are no forms of contamination or contraventions of the health department guidelines

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years working experience in a leadership role
  • Proven previous experience in a Stewarding Management capacity is an asset
  • Relevant post-secondary education (business, hospitality)
  • Experience managing a workgroup of 50+ employees within a Unionized working environment an asset
  • Demonstrated experience providing excellent employee relations with co-workers
  • Strong ability to effectively manage labour in a changing environment
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Proficient computer knowledge including working with MS Outlook, Word and Excel

SUMMARY

 

The primary purpose of the Vice President Marketing is to exercise direct control over Casino Rama’s marketing functions, specifically Player Services (Loyalty Program, Bussing, Call Centre, VIP Services), Entertainment and Marketing Services (inclusive of Public Relations, Advertising, Direct Marketing, Media and Social Networking).  In addition this position is a key member of the property Executive Committee, and oversees contracts with various outside vendors providing key services to the casino.  The individual will work with key department heads and stakeholders to ensure that the property achieves its planned goals for operational performance, as measured by revenue and cost controls which are consistent with the governing rules of gaming and compliance.  The Vice President Marketing will demonstrate leadership and a professional image to all guests, players, C.R.E.W., stakeholder and community representatives, vendors, competitors and governing agencies, while maintaining and improving company standards for customer satisfaction, C.R.E.W. engagement, quality assurance and asset protection.

 

 

ROLE

  • Detailed understanding of the role of Marketing in a gaming environment
  • Able to obtain and retain a Key Gaming license from the AGCO
